The Executive Board of the World Youth Peace Summit has recently announced that the World Youth Peace Summit planned for Nairobi from 23rd-28th October 2004, has been postponed. The venue and dates will be confirmed in due course.

Due to the tremendous support and enthusiasm shown by youth over the past several months, we have decided to give everyone additional time in which to prepare for the various regional as well as national conferences leading up to the World Summit. The past conferences have highlighted the importance of each region consolidating their unique youth voice before attending the World Summit. The additional time will also enable the World Youth Peace Summit to significantly expand our networking capacity.
